Purchase Ledger Administrator

Position - Permanent (subject to trial period) Part Time (30 hours)

Hours – Between the hours 8.00am to 5.00pm

Salary - up to £30,000 FTE (£24,000 actual)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a friendly jewellery retail company as part of the accounts team of six with the principal role of managing the stock purchase ledger.

 

Responsibilities:

Timely and accurate import and processing of stock supplier invoices ensuring all financial transactions are recorded and accounted for in accordance with the Companies policies and procedures.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure all invoices and credit notes are processed correctly, authorised and paid on time.

Complete supplier reconciliations to resolve any variances when required.

Sundry duties involving  assisting other members of the accounts team as and when necessary.

Maintaining a high level of confidentiality

 

Experience:

Purchase Ledger 3 year

 

Skills:

Ability to meet a high degree of accuracy whilst working in a fast paced and high-volume environment

Ability to work to multiple strict time deadlines

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills

Computer literate, have good knowledge of Excel

Positive and motivated personality

Must be adaptable, conscientious and enthusiastic with an attention to detail.

Ability to commute to Uxbridge (parking available).
